I craft detailed, narrative artwork exclusively from paper and cardboard. Having used these materials since childhood, I feel a deep connection to paper because of its resilience and versatility. Through my art, I create “stages” that celebrate the everyday objects that make life meaningful & magical. My work is largely inspired by theater, 90s kid TV shows, and my rich inner world.
After receiving my MFA from Parsons the New School for Design, I moved to California in 2011 and began using paper art as a means of keeping in touch with my family in New York. Today, I have the honor of sharing my art pieces through exhibitions at venues across the US including The Bedford Gallery, The Museum of Arts & Sciences (MOAS), and The Hudson River Museum.
I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my fiancé and our two cats.
Contact me if you’d like to collaborate or inquire about my work.
